Avnic Trading announces the new Southern Africa Streetmaps V1.5.Southern Africa Streetmaps V1.5 - a comprehensive and detailed revision of the earlier version 1 - contains more than 90 000 additional kilometres of routable tar and gravel roads, numerous additional smaller towns in South Africa and 100 000 points of interest (an additional 30 000 more than on Southern Africa V1). The new Southern Africa V1.5, a half-yearly update of the popular Southern Africa Streetmaps released at the end of 2006, is a free upgrade for existing registered owners of Garmap Southern Africa V1. The end user must purchase the Garmap Southern Africa Streetmaps V1.5 DVD before he/she can do the free upgrade on the Garmap website. The cost of upgrading to V1.5 for registered owners of an earlier map product depends on which map product the customer currently owns. If the user owns the previous South African Streetmaps v4 map product, the user is entitled to migrate to the new Southern AfricaStreetmaps V1.5 for a nominal R228.00 (excluding VAT).The end user must purchase the Garmap Southern Africa Streetmaps V1.5 DVD before he/she can do the migration on the Garmap website. Additionally users can upload the new Southern Africa V1.5 for full Auto-routing and points of interest searching onto their GPS, or with an overlay of the newly revised Southern Africa Topo and Recreation V1.5, add additional topographic and river data. Users can also access and load an additional three other upgraded map products included on the DVD (additional costs do apply) -1. East Africa Streetmaps V1.2. Indian Ocean Islands: Mauritius V13. Nigeria V1To load and unlock the Southern Africa Streetmaps V1.5 (or any of the other map products),users need to follow these simple steps -1. Insert the DVD into a PC2. Connect to the internet3.
